The decision to buy in Crested Butte is an easy one. Most people fall in love with this area on their first visit.
The decision on who should represent you can be a bit more complicated. In today's fast paced Resort Real Estate market it is imperative that you have a trained, seasoned professional in your corner....representing your needs and desires. I am that person!! Colorado differs from most states in a couple of ways. These differences are important to you and your Real Estate Transaction. Colorado is a very Buyer friendly state and offers two types of representation for Buyers, not all Realtors utilize both. I do!! I feel that it is important to let the customer choose how they wish to be represented. The first option is Transaction Brokerage - This is the default position for a Realtor, and if you never have a conversation indicating a different type of representation, this is what you're getting. In this role I act as a facilitator for the transaction and am obligated to remain neutral, presenting facts and helping you to make the best decision possible. The second option is Buyer Agency - in this role I am your Advocate. I am not only facilitating the transaction, but also doing all I can specifically for your benefit. I offer Buyer Agency (as well as Transaction Brokerage for in-house transactions). If you wish to have a Buyer's Agent in a transaction the State requires that you put it in writing with a Buyer's Agency agreement.
