After 2 rather soft years in the Crested Butte Real Estate market the summer has brought a flurry of activity with 102 properties already closed since June 1st and 72 more under contract! This is a significant uptick!

Many of the other Colorado resort areas are seeing similar patterns.

Inventory remains high in most neighbourhoods and prices continue to drop - some significantly. The bargains are widespread.

Interest rates are still at historical lows, but are preticted to begin rising sooner than later. Once that happens the cost of properties will go up via the interest paid over the life of a loan.
